Level 2: U8 Teams
Program Overview
The objective within the second level of our "Academy" program, is to progress from the basic FUNdamentals learned within our U6-U7 Academy “Training” Program, to now prepare our players for “game play”.
Practice sessions will continue to utilize the one player:one ball methodology to maximize a player's individual technical development, with the addition of educating HOW, WHEN and WHERE each technique can be used in a game setting.
Players at this level now have their first experience of playing year round soccer: August to June (fall, winter & spring)
